Hospitality Technician
About the role
You will work in multiple locations and departments—Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain—showcasing adaptability and versatility. Communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure continuity of service and foster a positive work environment.
This position is part of the patient care team and will create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment. You will greet, communicate with, and assist visitors, staff, and patients in navigating the hospital.
Special projects may be assigned with specific direction.
Responsibilities
- Refer to the job description of the specific role being performed, including using the associated technology.
- Communicate effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, and patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care.
- Assist visitors, staff, and patients in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Customer service and/or other related experience
Qualifications (Preferred)
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (American Heart Association) – Patient Transport (90 days preferred)
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC (American Red Cross) – Patient Transport (90 days preferred)
- CRT-Accredited Food Handler – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred)
- CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred)
- CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred)
