About the role
You will work in multiple locations and departments—Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain—showcasing adaptability and versatility. Communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure continuity of service and foster a positive work environment.
This position is part of the patient care team and creates a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
Responsibilities
- Refer to the job description of the specific role being performed, including using the associated technology.
- Communicate effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients, and residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care.
- Greet, communicate with, and assist visitors, staff, and/or patients in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination.
- Complete special projects as assigned, with specific direction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (American Heart Association) or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC (American Red Cross), with 90 days preferred for Patient Transport.
- CRT-Accredited Food Handler – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).
- CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).
- CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).

- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 24
- Days Worked: Monday – Friday
- Weekend Frequency: Every other weekend
