About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hospitality Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring an exceptional customer service experience for our guests by providing a warm and welcoming environment, addressing guest needs, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Efficient and courteous front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Collect balances, post room charges, make reservations, room moves, and handle stay-over requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor online travel agents for rental inbound notifications.
- Run reports, correct errors before guest check-in, and prepare night audits daily.
- Respond to online reviews and manage telephone communications with proper etiquette.
- Answer guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
- Make courtesy and follow-up calls to address guest issues.
- Send confirmation letters to owners and guests as needed.
- Notify owners about villa rental status via rental calls.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth responses to guest requests.
- Process daily incoming revenue from all departments.
- Open and close credit card machines, perform cashier audit reports, and balance cash drawers.
- Process advance deposits, collect money, and post transactions from other departments.
- Perform daily post office and banking runs.
- Manage inventory changes as directed by supervisors or managers.
- Prepare check-in packets for the upcoming week and order office supplies as needed.
- Enter maintenance and service requests in SPI promptly.
- Block RCI points for unpaid accounts and manage RCI banking, membership changes, and cancellations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
