Description
The Hospitality Services, under direct supervision, assists in the service of meals for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include delivering meals to patients, using patient identification tools, inspecting patient trays, maintaining par levels of foods and supplies, cleaning and sanitizing dishes and kitchen areas, preparing assigned foods, managing cash transactions, adhering to food hygiene and safety requirements, resolving basic issues, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow established procedures and policies
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving food items
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
