About the role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Hospitality Attendant to support our dining services team.
Responsibilities
- Serve and plate resident meals safely, ensuring proper hot and cold food handling
- Set up and clear dining rooms according to service standards
- Provide resident-centered customer service during meal service
- Read menus and follow special diet instructions as ordered
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining areas, and workspaces
- Document food, refrigerator, and freezer temperatures and complete sanitation logs
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and transport food carts
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Attend required trainings and department meetings
- Support the culinary team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age (with valid working papers if applicable)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong customer service skills with a flexible, caring attitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to food safety, infection control, compliance, and HIPAA standards
