About the role

Hospitality Associate in MFS Food and Nutrition at Millard Fillmore Suburban (Williamsville, NY). Part‑time benefit‑eligible position ensuring quality, order accuracy and timely delivery of patient trays, providing diet education, distributing menus, explaining room service, completing floor stock, and maintaining high communication with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, order accuracy and timely delivery of patient trays.
• Provide basic "Information About Your Diet" education materials.
• Distribute diet‑specific menus.
• Explain the room service program and ordering process.
• When a patient is unable to select a meal, take appropriate measures to ensure they receive a selectable menu.
• Complete floor stock and address any dietary‑related needs for the assigned unit.
• Maintain high communication levels with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a customer‑service focused position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions, reason, and make sound judgment.
• Ability to perform all required competencies within the required time frames.
• Good basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to handle medium weight requirements (up to 50 lbs).

Pay

Salary range: $17.60 – $23.20 per hour (bi‑weekly pay frequency). Wage determined by experience, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule

• Scheduled work hours: 6 AM – 7 PM (Shift 1).
• Standard hours: 50.25 hours bi‑weekly (FTE 0.67).
• Weekend/holiday work required.
• On‑call not required.
• Work arrangement: onsite.
