About the Role
Envision Physician Services is seeking a Hospitalist Site Medical Director to lead an experienced group of 16 full-time daytime hospitalists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers at Medical City Fort Worth. The role includes protected clinical time and an open, collegial, and supportive relationship with executive hospital leadership.
Responsibilities
- Co-management with specialties
- Clinical support for physicians on shift
- Shadowing and coaching of hospitalists
- Onboarding and mentoring new physicians
- Recruiting new team members
- Strategic planning for the hospitalist program
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Previous leadership experience required
- Active Texas medical license (preferred or in-process)
- W2 Employee status

About the Team & Facility
The hospitalist program is exclusive to Medical City Fort Worth, featuring an average census of 18-22 per hospitalist. The facility is a 320-bed medical center specializing in tertiary care, teaching, and research, located in the heart of the Fort Worth medical district. Medical City Fort Worth holds regional recognition with prestigious awards in multiple medical specialties and maintains a long-term, collaborative relationship with hospital administration. Envision also provides Emergency Medicine services at this location.
