About the Role

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH), in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University, is seeking Hospitalists to join our established Hospitalist Division in Astoria, Oregon. This opportunity allows you to provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast while maintaining an affiliation with Oregon’s only academic medical center. The physician-led hospitalist program prioritizes person-centered care and offers a balanced work-life schedule with a 158 annual shift requirement, averaging 13.2 twelve-hour shifts per month (including day and night shifts). Tele-intensivists are available for consultation on all ICU patients, and the collaborative hospitalist division includes daily Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage. CMH is a growing and financially strong organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital.
  • Collaborate with a physician-led hospitalist program focused on person-centered care.
  • Work an average of 13.2 twelve-hour shifts per month, including day and night shifts.
  • Consult with tele-intensivists for ICU patient care.
  • Work within a collaborative hospitalist division that includes daily APP coverage.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
  • DEA Certificate.
  • ACLS Certification.
