About the role
The position is at a 116‑bed freestanding behavioral health hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and operates two outpatient locations in Falls Church and Chantilly, Virginia. The hospitalist service manages daily encounters on 115 dedicated inpatient units. The hospital is located in Falls Church, nicknamed “the Little City,” a 2.2‑square‑mile community just off Route 66 about 7 miles from Washington, D.C., offering a peaceful, small‑town setting near the nation’s capital. With a population of nearly 14,000, the city is known for its urban village atmosphere, quality customer service, nationally ranked school system, environmental activism, and abundant community activities.
