Hospitalist Physician

Role: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician Responsibilities: Provide inpatient obstetric care during 24-hour in-house shifts, including labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, twin and high-risk pregnancies, maternal transports, and management of unassigned and emergency patients. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Iowa medical license or eligibility through Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, and proficiency with Epic EMR. Key Duties: Manage a variety of obstetric cases, respond to emergency situations, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care. Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in obstetrics, ability to work in high-pressure situations, excellent communication, and adaptability.
