Hospitalist - Physician
About the role
The Hospitalist, in collaboration and consultation with an interdisciplinary team, will manage the care of patients hospitalized with complex acute health problems and facilitate continuum of care from admission through the discharge process.
Responsibilities
- Initial assessment and follow-up evaluation and management of hospitalists' patients
- Ordering and interpreting various diagnostic tests
- Ordering pharmacological therapies
- Consulting and collaborating with a diverse complement of specialists
- Executing complex medical decision-making
- Communicating with patient families
- Cooking and coordinating discharge
Requirements
A MD, DO, with completion of advanced graduate medical education in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with board eligibility or board certification in their respective field is required. A requested 2026 start -- other timeline inquiries welcomed.
Qualifications
Commitment to compassionate patient-centered care is essential.
Skills
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team are required.
