Hospitalist Physician
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Hospitalist to join our team at SSM St. Joseph West in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Our team consists of 16 Physicians and 6 APPs, providing comprehensive care across various specialties. The ideal candidate should be board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
Responsibilities
- Manage admissions, particularly during morning hours.
- Round on patients and manage rapid responses for own patients.
- Open ICU with minimal expectation of full critical care support.
- No procedures or code blue response required.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine hospitalist.
- All levels of experience considered.
- Proudly sponsors H1B visa candidates and provides in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support.
- All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.

Benefits
Full-time yearly base salary of $294,000. Productive and quality incentives are provided in addition to the base salary. Commencement bonus and relocation allowance are also provided.
Schedule
Day rounding hospitalist hours 7 am-7 pm; 7 days on - 7 days off.

Full-time yearly base salary of $294,000.
