Hospitalist Physician

About the Role

This position is for an experienced OB Hospitalist in a high-acuity, autonomous practice environment. The role involves managing complex obstetric cases, including high-risk and maternal-fetal medicine patients, within a fully inpatient setting at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, which handles approximately 1,800 deliveries annually and features a level III NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical care in labor and emergency management, including OB ED duties.
• Handle high-risk, antepartum, and transfer-in cases.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians.

Requirements

• Board eligible or certified in OB/GYN.
• Strong procedural skills and confidence in acute care scenarios.
• Ability to practice independently within a solo coverage model.
