About the role
The OB Hospitalist is responsible for providing emergency, gynecological, and obstetric care within a hospital setting, including call coverage and assisting with private MD emergencies. The position may include a potential site director stipend and leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Cover one facility with six 24-hour shifts, supporting both OB hospitalists and private physicians
- Provide first assists, manage patient emergencies, and support hospital operations
- Collaborate with experienced clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Leadership qualities preferred for potential director roles
