Hospitalist Physician

About the role

The OB Hospitalist is responsible for providing emergency, gynecological, and obstetric care within a hospital setting, including call coverage and assisting with private MD emergencies. The position may include a potential site director stipend and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Cover one facility with six 24-hour shifts, supporting both OB hospitalists and private physicians
• Provide first assists, manage patient emergencies, and support hospital operations
• Collaborate with experienced clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Leadership qualities preferred for potential director roles
