About the Role
Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join a well-established OB Hospitalist team at a Level III Perinatal Center with NICU, located just west of Indianapolis. This is a 100% inpatient, shift-based role with no outpatient duties, ideal for physicians who enjoy high-acuity obstetrics with strong backup and predictable schedules.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-risk obstetric cases in a dedicated OB Emergency Department
- Provide inpatient obstetric care, including supporting VBACs and primary C-sections
- Collaborate with in-house OB anesthesia, CRNA, Neonatology, and MFM teams
- Participate in a teaching environment with Family Medicine residents
- Utilize available advanced robotic surgical technology
- Shift-based inpatient obstetric care, including emergency responses
- Participation in teaching and collaborative clinical support
- Providing comprehensive obstetric services in a Level III center
Requirements
- Board-certified OB/GYN
- Experience in high-acuity obstetrics preferred
- Strong teamwork and mentorship skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
