Hospitalist

About the role

Start date: ASAP. Hospitalist position with a nationally recognized healthcare organization seeking a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician. Located in Hagerstown, MD, approximately one hour from Baltimore, offering a close-knit community with thriving arts and entertainment district, outdoor recreation (hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, boating), lower cost of living than the national average, exceptional public and private schools, and convenient access to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., including international airports and professional sports.

Responsibilities

• Work within a collegial team of physicians and APPs with 1:1 clinical support
• Manage an established patient panel with ability to ramp up quickly
• Provide inpatient care with limited 1:6 call via phone only (no weekend shifts)

Pay

Base salary range: $270,000 – $280,000 per year (also noted as $250–280K depending on experience).

Schedule

No weekend shifts; limited 1:6 call via phone only.
