About the role
We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient coverage with no call requirement.
Responsibilities
- Managing a daily census of 14‑17 patients
- Admitting patients
- Utilizing the Epic EMR system
- Receiving support from two daytime Advanced Practice Providers and ancillary services (Laboratory, Imaging, Therapy)
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for inpatient management and EMR documentation
Qualifications
- Required certifications: ATLS and BLS
- Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days
- Experience in inpatient settings
- Appropriate licensure (NP or PA)
- Ability to work independently during shifts
Schedule
Shift hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
