Hospitalist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This inpatient nocturnist role involves providing night shift coverage in a facility with a structured hybrid CCU model supported by a multidisciplinary team. The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an average daily census in the 90s and 12–15 admissions per shift. This on-site position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule, with no procedures required and no call responsibilities outside shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult inpatient cases, including conditions ranging from CCU-level to floor-level care
• Respond to overhead codes and emergencies throughout the facility
• Oversee patients transitioning from CCU to the floor
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team, with support from on-site APPs and an on-call intensivist

Qualifications

• Prescriptive authority required
• Board certification negotiable
