About the Facility

South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned healthcare campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services ranging from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to uphold high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and comprehensive care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units.
• Attend to consultations and referrals as needed.
• Educate and train residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical team.
• Collaborate with facility-wide departments as required.
• Participate in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers.

Schedule

Flexible schedule for evening and overnight hours coverage, with dedicated hours and flexibility for additional coverage.
