Hospitalist

About the role

The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated Hospitalist team at a 25-bed critical access hospital with 4 bed ICU in Ketchikan, Alaska. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $209.23/hr, fully paid malpractice insurance, and potential for travel/accommodation stipend and license reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure timely documentation in the EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in Alaska
• Experience in hospitalist care preferred
