To provide medical expertise to support patients in living the healthiest lives possible.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Oversee the patient’s care during their hospital stay, communicating with the primary care team and specialists every step of the way to ensure the patient gets the care needed to return home safely.
• Practice at Henderson Hospital.
• Provide dayshift coverage, Monday through Friday, and every 3rd weekend.
• Average daily patient census: 17/day with an age range of 65+ - day shift plus any admissions.
• Weekend patient census is 20 plus any admissions.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Knowledge of hospitalist practices and procedures.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend.
