Day APP at UMCAP – Largo, MD (FT)Adfinitas Health has a Full Time opening for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Hospitalist team at University of Maryland Capital Region in Largo, Maryland. JOB DESCRIPTIONOur hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed. POSITION DETAILSOur hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.Heart & Vascular Institute with dedicated cardiac intensive care unitDesignated Stroke CenterLevel II Trauma Center2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One205 licensed beds in private rooms32 Bed intensive care unitInternal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programsMust have a Minimum of 18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist or similar position.
