Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for pets staying in our hospital and lodge, including feeding, walking, and monitoring comfort and well-being.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kennels, runs, and lodging areas.
- Clean and maintain grooming bathtubs, grooming areas, floors, and kennels.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance throughout the hospital, including laundry, disinfecting surfaces, waste removal, and restocking supplies.
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Safely transport patients between departments as needed.
- Assist with yard clean-up and maintain the exterior appearance of the hospital.
- Assist other departments as needed, including reception and grooming.
- Help maintain an organized, efficient flow throughout the hospital.
- Observe and report any changes in patient behavior or condition.
Qualifications
- Genuine love for animals and a strong sense of compassion.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic, including a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Interest in veterinary medicine or animal care is a plus, but not required.
