Hospital Service Technician (34-36 hours per week) - Greenville

We are looking for a Hospital Service Technician to support assigned hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is an active, hands-on role where you’ll make a real impact every day.

About the role

You will work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical-waste container exchanges, proper segregation, and smooth logistics across three Greenville, SC locations:

• St. Francis Downtown Hospital – 1 St Francis Dr, Greenville, SC 29601
• St. Francis Downtown Cancer Center – 104 Innovation Dr, Greenville, SC 29607
• St. Francis Eastside Hospital – 125 Commonwealth Dr, Greenville, SC 29615

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces and patient-care environments
• Exchange medical-waste containers and ensure proper segregation
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the shift
• Maintain inventory, stock all areas, and keep staging zones clean and orderly
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a positive work ethic

Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and active, on-the-go work
• Able to work independently without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $21–$23 plus mileage reimbursement for driving between work sites.
