Hospital Sales Specialist - Orlando/West Palm Beach, FL

About the role
You will serve as the hospital sales specialist within an assigned territory, meeting all sales objectives for Chiesi USA’s CARE promoted hospital products and upholding company standards. Must live in the Orlando/West Palm Beach, FL area.
Responsibilities
- Call on targeted customers and promote/sell Chiesi USA products in accordance with approved methods within your assigned geographic territory.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Conduct in-services and clinical discussions with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
- Navigate hospital formulary processes.
- Implement territory business plans aligned to regional and national goals.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, medical staff, and others.
- Develop influential customers as local advocates and champions.
- Schedule and conduct high-impact meetings with targeted customers and peers.
- Implement special programs to maximize sales opportunities (e.g., speaker bureau programs, symposia, and displays at conventions).
- Continuously refine sales and retention strategies to optimize business outcomes and create "win-win" results for physicians and company market providers.
- Partner and leverage Chiesi’s internal teams to meet customer needs and move the selling process forward.
- Develop, update, and adhere to territory business plans.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management.
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth.
- Rapidly gain proficiency with products and sales tools (visual aids, clinical reprints, technical data, educational materials) to demonstrate competence to a highly trained audience.
- Manage territory budget within assigned company guidelines.
- Respond in a timely manner to all management and customer requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited university.
- Two years’ pharmaceutical industry sales experience.
- Excellent communication (interpersonal and public speaking) skills.
- Proven organizational and territory management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in presenting scientific information utilizing visual aids, clinical reprints, and technical data.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Successful completion of new hire training and ability to pass product knowledge tests.
- Skillfully plan, prioritize, and execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic work environment.
- Valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes, including obtaining and maintaining necessary hospital credentials.
- Successful completion of a drug test, including testing for marijuana.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the specialty pharmaceutical sales industry.
Schedule
Field-Based/Remote position, up to 75% travel as necessary to meet job requirements. Candidates should live in or near Orlando, FL or West Palm Beach, FL.
Pay
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $135,540 to $155,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
