Hospital RN Nurse Manager
About the role
The RN Nurse Manager at BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital - WJMC Campus is responsible for overseeing patient care activities and nursing personnel within a designated unit. This position involves consulting with staff, physicians, and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure patient needs are met, ensuring adherence to policies, and managing staffing levels.
Responsibilities
- Consult with staff, physicians, and Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and interpret hospital policies.
- Ensure nursing staff follow established policies and procedures.
- Participate in investigations and report preparation.
- Adequately staff nursing units.
- Implement and oversee the Standards of Nursing Practice across all areas and functions.
- Act as the administrative representative in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum three years’ experience in leadership roles within medical-surgical nursing.
- Minimum two years’ supervisory experience preferred.
- Critical care experience preferred.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in healthcare policies and procedures is also crucial.

Pay
Compensation for this role will be determined based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range is from $77,000 to $111,000.
