Hospital Phlebotomy Supervisor

Role: Phlebotomy Supervisor leading a team of over 25 phlebotomists in a hospital environment. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the phlebotomy team, ensuring efficient patient service and workflow.Oversee productivity, patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels monthly.Coordinate staff scheduling, handle payroll, conduct performance evaluations, and support hiring and training processes.Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues.Perform specimen collection and preparation as needed, assist with new site setup. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.At least 21 years old and able to pass a color blindness test.Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.Over 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
