Hospital Phlebotomist Part Time

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
• In lieu of the state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist (preferred).

Pay

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour plus 3rd shift differential. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.

Schedule

Friday & Saturday, 2:30am - 11:00am.
