Phlebotomist Part Time

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed (reliable transportation required)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is acceptable
• 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical or hospital environment (preferred)
• 1 or more years' experience with pediatric patients (preferred)
• Current or prior LabCorp experience (preferred)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM, with rotating weekends.
