Hospital Pharmacy Manager
Responsibilities
- Serves as the PIC or acting PIC in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Maintains policies and procedures to ensure safe administration, control, storage, and use of medications.
- Manages the Pharmacy staff, including financial decisions such as inventory control and the budgeting process.
- Interacts with physicians and other departments to ensure quality of care and education.
- Ensures compliance with licensing criteria and regulatory requirements.
- Attends administrative meetings related to regulatory affairs.
- Implements or changes operations based on state and federal regulations and other functions related to patient care and operations of the Pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Current state Registered Pharmacy License.
- At least 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience with 2 years of administrative experience.
- A Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field is preferred.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $131,310.40 to $190,174.40 on an annualized basis.
