• Typical hours 0800-1400 one weekend a month with potential of other days as needed

$62.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times
• Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure
• Current State licensure required
• BLS certification if required by State

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency
