Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS and BLS
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico
- Authorized to work in the United States
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Open ICU-6 beds
- Procedural skills are REQUIRED: Central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, thoracentesis
- We can help train for arterial lines and small-bore chest tubes
- The Hospitalist team is part of the rapid response team and responds to codes
- The average census per doctor is 10-14
- Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system
Schedule
Full-time, 7 on/off schedule, 12-hour shifts. Rotate with the other physicians through days and nights.
Benefits
- Daytime shift rate: $1829
- Night shift Rate: $2109
- Eligible for quality and productivity bonuses
