About the role

Lead our local team of 5 Hospital Medicine physicians. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital medicine. Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
• Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of hospitalist experience and previous leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.
• Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.
• Candidates must be comfortable with vent management but are not required to do procedures.

• Annual compensation $365K + incentives.
