About the role
VCA Old River Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Hospital Manager to lead, grow, and develop a team while providing an atmosphere of mutual respect. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with both people and animals and will be able to set a positive tone for the hospital.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in veterinary medicine
- Experience managing a veterinary hospital team
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for animal welfare and client service
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a veterinary management role
- A degree in veterinary medicine or related field
- Valid California Veterinary Practice License
- Experience with hospital operations and management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
