About the role
The Hospital Housekeeper maintains a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist Health uses state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines to break down the DNA of germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for team members and patients.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Follows all safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred.
- High School Diploma preferred.
Schedule
Full-Time, Evenings (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.
