Hospital Hematopathologist
Responsibilities
AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based Hematopathologist that will handle a case mix of hematopathology, bone marrows and AP/CP general surgical work with frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as a part of a team of 7 pathologists. Willingness to pick up hospital based medical directorship for a small hospital is ideal.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency/fellowship
- Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology
- Must be board certified in hematopathology or be board eligible
- 2-3 years post residency experience desired but not required
Requirements
- Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensure
- Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted
