About the Role

What if your deep expertise in healthcare data governance could directly shape how AI understands and operates within one of the most critical domains in the world? We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help build, evaluate, and refine AI systems designed for clinical and hospital environments — ensuring the data these systems rely on is accurate, secure, compliant, and genuinely trustworthy.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and validate AI-generated healthcare data governance frameworks, policies, and outputs for accuracy, compliance, and real-world applicability
  • Apply your expertise in clinical data operations to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in how AI models handle hospital health records
  • Assess whether AI outputs align with established regulatory and privacy standards, including HIPAA and other applicable frameworks
  • Provide structured, expert feedback on data quality, governance controls, and cross-functional alignment scenarios
  • Review how AI systems model the relationships between clinical, IT, and compliance workflows — and flag where they fall short
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or hospital data operations
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA
  • Comfortable evaluating data policies, governance structures, and compliance controls critically
  • Skilled at working across clinical, technical, and administrative domains — you understand all three perspectives
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and confident in providing clear, structured feedback

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or model training workflows
  • Background in health informatics, clinical informatics, or enterprise data management
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, data warehouses, or hospital analytics platforms
  • Experience with data stewardship programs or governance committee work
