About The Role

What if your expertise in healthcare data governance could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about clinical information — influencing systems that will power the next generation of healthcare technology? We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to bring deep domain knowledge to cutting-edge AI training projects. You'll help ensure that AI systems working with health data are grounded in real-world governance standards — accurate, compliant, and clinically sound. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI background needed — just proven expertise in healthcare data governance and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

  • Apply real-world hospital data governance expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated content related to clinical data management and health information systems
  • Review AI outputs for accuracy, compliance alignment, and clinical relevance — flagging gaps, errors, and areas of risk
  • Define and assess governance frameworks, data quality standards, and healthcare compliance concepts as they appear in AI-generated scenarios
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems better understand complex healthcare data environments
  • Work across clinical, IT, compliance, and operational domains to ensure AI reasoning reflects real hospital workflows
  • Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — including HIPAA and related standards
  • Proven ability to work across clinical, technical, and administrative functions in a hospital or health system environment
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to evaluating complex information
  • Clear and precise written communicator — able to explain governance concepts and document feedback effectively
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without direct supervision

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Background in EHR systems, health informatics, or clinical data architecture
  • Familiarity with data stewardship, master data management, or interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR
  • Experience in regulatory reporting, accreditation, or clinical audit environments

Why Join Us

  • Work at the intersection of healthcare expertise and advanced AI development alongside leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Contribute to AI systems that could meaningfully improve how health data is understood and used at scale
  • Exposure to large-scale health data systems and frontier AI model training
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
