Hospital/ER Registered Nurse RN

About the Role

Provides and maintains professional, quality, patient-centered care through planning and administration of patient care. Performs nursing care via development and implementation of nursing standards, policies, and procedures, staff training and development programs, and as a member of the Phillips County Hospital team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate planning and administration of patient care.
• Provide professional, quality, patient-centered care.
• Develop and implement nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in staff training and development programs.
• Collaborate as a member of the Phillips County Hospital team.

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, or stoop.
• Sit and stand throughout the day.
• Work in a hospital/ER setting.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• State of Montana Nursing license.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).li>
• Ability to provide assessments, treatment, and care for patients.
• Effective, professional, and appropriate verbal and written communication with staff, patients, and family members.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with physicians, administration, nursing staff, department heads, and other employees.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
