About the Role
Provides and maintains professional, quality, patient-centered care through planning and administration of patient care. Performs nursing care via development and implementation of nursing standards, policies, and procedures, staff training and development programs, and as a member of the Phillips County Hospital team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate planning and administration of patient care.
- Provide professional, quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in staff training and development programs.
- Collaborate as a member of the Phillips County Hospital team.
Physical and Environmental Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, or stoop.
- Sit and stand throughout the day.
- Work in a hospital/ER setting.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- State of Montana Nursing license.
- Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).li>
- Ability to provide assessments, treatment, and care for patients.
- Effective, professional, and appropriate verbal and written communication with staff, patients, and family members.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with physicians, administration, nursing staff, department heads, and other employees.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
