Hospital/ER Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and delegation of RN/LPN, the employee assists in the direct care of patients, ensuring well-being, comfort, and safety during scheduled shifts for hospital, ER, and Nursing Service patients. Provides and maintains professional, quality, patient-centered care through the implementation of CNA standards, policies, and procedures.

Physical and environmental demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, sitting, and standing throughout the day. The role is based in a hospital/ED setting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program with active certification.
• Valid MT CNA License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and family members.
• Experience providing care to patients of all ages and acuity levels.
• Ability to work with individuals of varying backgrounds to ensure high-quality patient care delivery.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
