About the role

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Hospital Cook to join our dedicated team in Saddle Brook, NJ. The position offers a competitive compensation range of $20.00 - $26.93 per hour, based on experience, plus a shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for patients, staff, and guests.
• Absent from Manager, supervise dietary staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and proper sanitation, safety, and infection control.
• Clean and maintain cooking and eating areas.
• Maintain high standards of food production and portion control.
• Take initiative to identify and solve problems.

Requirements

• One (1) year of cooking experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of a state or local food safety training course preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Full-Time 8AM - 4PM / 11Am - 7PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)
