Hospital Chief Executive Officer

This position is with the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) at the Chester Mental Health Center. The Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plans, directs, administers, and coordinates mental health services while managing the general, medical, psychiatric, administrative, and fiscal functions of the hospital. The CEO ensures standards of care and treatment for patients, directs budget development, serves as the official spokesperson, and interprets policies to staff and external groups. Chester Mental Health Center is committed to assisting patients in achieving their full recovery potential, emphasizing culture, safety, recovery, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Chester Mental Health Center.
• Directs, reviews, and enforces standards of care and treatment for patients.
• Directs Fiscal Management staff on matters involving the development and management of the hospital’s budget.
• Serves as the official spokesperson for the hospital.
• Acts as a full-line supervisor.
• Performs other reasonable duties as required or assigned within the scope of the role.
