Hospice Volunteers Needed
Hospice Volunteers are needed to play a vital role within the hospice team. Their responsibilities range from engaging patients and families to providing clerical and office support.
- Engage patients and families in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Help with administrative tasks in the office to support nursing and care staff.
Qualifications
Volunteers must be willing to commit to regular visits and flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of patients and families.
- Willingness to listen and provide comfort to patients and families.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and family information.
