Hospice Volunteer

About the role

Continuum Care Hospice is always looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to join our team. We currently have opportunities for companionship, respite care, pet therapy, hairdressers, and more in the Sammamish area. If you enjoy spending time with others, we would love to match you with a patient who could benefit from your presence.

Responsibilities

• Chat and reminisce with patients
• Offer a comforting hand to hold
• Listen as patients share their stories
• Play games
• Read together
• Create art
• Engage in other meaningful activities

Schedule

Companionship volunteers typically visit patients once a week or once every other week, based on patient needs and volunteer availability. The commitment is very flexible.
