Hospice Volunteer
About the role
Continuum Care Hospice seeks compassionate, dedicated volunteers to join its team. Opportunities include companionship, respite care, pet therapy, hairdressing, and more in the Everett area.
Responsibilities
- Spend time with patients to provide companionship, comfort, and support.
- Engage in activities such as chatting, reminiscing, holding hands, listening, playing games, reading together, creating art, or enjoying other meaningful activities.
- Visit patients once a week or once every other week, based on their needs and your availability.
Requirements
Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license, and complete a background check. No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.
Qualifications
Companionship volunteers should be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per month and possess excellent communication skills.
