Hospice RN Executive Director

Maintained Duties

• Manages positive internal and external customer service relationships
• Delegates responsibilities to administrative and supervisory personnel based on ability and defined roles
• Monitors program administration, planning, supervision, and evaluation
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
• Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures
• Determines staffing needs and patterns considering program requirements and personnel utilization
• Autorizes appointments to staff positions in collaboration with the VP of Operations
• Oversees compliance with personnel policies and procedures
• Negotiates and executes contracts with community providers and monitors program compliance with contractual agreements

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program (preferred)
• Minimum Associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in hospice, home health, or similar setting
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
• Experience in program administration including knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance

Compensation

$125,000 - $150,000 per year
