About the role
Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home, located in the Bronx, New York, has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families for over 125 years. Through a caring, compassionate philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area.
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in the planning, implementation, documentation, and coordination of patient care services to Hospice patients and their families.
Requirements
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Two (2) years experience in nursing which includes any combination of medical-surgical, oncological, palliative and community home health/hospice
- At least one (1) year of community hospice or home health experience is preferred
- Hospice experience preferred
- Position requires ability to commute to multiple territories to ensure continuity of care
- A valid driver's license is required. (This requirement does not apply to positions assigned exclusively to Manhattan territory)
- A vehicle is required to commute to patients. (This requirement does not apply to positions assigned exclusively to Manhattan territory)
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is preferred

Pay
$113,576 - $140,076 annually
