Hospice RN Admissions Nurse

Miracle City Hospice is hiring a RN Admissions Nurse to support Broadview Heights and surrounding counties. Come join our compassionate growing team of professional clinicians who make a difference in the lives of patients and families facing end of life journey.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services.
• Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patients/families of its services.
• Obtains informed consent
• Provides nursing assessment, initial plan of care, and intervention(s) that optimize patient and family-directed comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
• Must possess current CPR Certification
• 1 year of Hospice experience, preferred
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public
• Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures

4 10 hour shifts (9a-7p) during the week Monday through Friday
