Hospice Patient Care/Interaction Volunteer In Grapevine and HEB Area Needed

About the role

Vitas is the largest Hospice provider in the US. We are seeking a few patient interaction volunteers to assist in the Grapevine and HEB areas. Families who are receiving hospice services need additional support from friendly faces and kind neighbors during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to hospice patients
• Offer emotional support to families
• Engage in activities that promote comfort and dignity
• Assist with daily living tasks as needed

Requirements

• Must be in or near Fort Worth, TX
• Available weekdays (daytime) and weekends (daytime)
• Flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Driver’s License
• Background check required
• Attend orientation

• Excellent communication skills
• Patience and empathy
• Ability to provide comfort and support
