Hospice & Palliative Care Medical Director, MercyOne Genesis | Bettendorf, IA

About the role

Join a collaborative team of physicians and APPs, Leadership role within a respected hospice (13 beds) and palliative care program, Teaching opportunities available, EMR: EPIC, Shared weekday call coverage with APP support

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with Iowa medical license
  • Board Certified; Hospice & Palliative Medicine certification preferred
  • Fellowship training and hospice/palliative care experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interdisciplinary team skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural domains
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $260,000-$280,000
  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000
  • Annual CME allowance: $6,000
  • Paid malpractice with tail coverage
